Best of Southwest – August 1

Southwest Raleigh is home to some of the best restaurants in the area. Each week Raleigh Specials Tonight will feature a few of these restaurants in Raleigh’s Creative District. Be sure to check here before planning your night out this week.

This week we feature Tir Na Nog, Brewmnaster’s Bar and Grill, and Character’s Quarters.

Tir Na Nog

  • Known for: Being a favorite Irish pub among locals. Try the chicken burger.
  • When to go: On Thursday’s they host “Local Beer, Local Band.”  You can see an awesome local band and sip a local beer on special.

Brewmaster’s Bar and Grill

  • Known for: Having a plethora of local beers on tap.
  • When to go: On Tuesdays, they have $3 NC pints.

Character’s Quarters

  • Known for: Being a great place to party on the outskirts of south Raleigh.
  • When to go: Every Saturday they have live music, $2.25 Miller Lites, $5 jack and Crowns, and $5 Jager Bombs.
