Best of Southwest – November 14

Southwest Raleigh is home to some of the best restaurants in the area. Each week, Raleigh Specials Tonight will feature a few of these restaurants in Raleigh’s Creative District. Be sure to check here before planning your night out this week.

This week we feature Napper Tandy’s, Zely and Ritz, and The Remedy Diner.

Napper Tandy’s
126 N. West St, Raleigh NC

  • Known for: Being one of the best Irish pubs in the area. They have multiple bars, a great patio, and there’s always something going on there. New York transplants are also familiar with Napper’s as they have a few locations on Long Island.
  • When to go: On Mondays, they have a $5 menu that will put any happy hour to shame! Also, if you are going to the Carolina Hurricanes game tonight, you can catch the Canes Coach right outside.

Zely and Ritz
301 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh NC

  • Known for: Serving farm-fresh local cuisine.
  • When to go: On Thursdays, they have $5 martinis. Also, keep an eye on their website for their next wine dinner series.

The Remedy Diner
137 E. Hargett St, Raleigh NC

  • Known for: Their vegetarian/vegan options. Also, their pies – my favorite is the chocolate chip pie.
  • When to go: Any time you have a diverse group of friends, take them to The Remedy Diner. Vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores will all find something to enjoy.
