Best of Southwest – January 9

Southwest Raleigh is home to some of the best restaurants in the area. Each week, Raleigh Specials Tonight will feature a few of these restaurants in Raleigh’s Creative District. Be sure to check here before planning your night out this week.

This week we feature Joel Lane’s Public House, Gravy, and Seaboard 18.

Joel Lane’s Public House

  • Known for: Being a great spot for the lunch crowd. Be sure to join their lunch club so you can buy 7 lunches and get the 8th free.
  • When to go: On Mondays, they have all-you-can-eat wings for $10 and $1 Domestics.

Gravy
135 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC

  • Known for: Serving up Italian-American food to the downtown crowd.
  • When to go: Follow them on Twitter or Facebook for their Sunday “Beer and Ball” specials where they feature select gourmet meatballs and beers.

18 Seaboard
18 Seaboard, Raleigh NC 27604

  • Known for: Serving some of the most creative and delicious cuisine in Raleigh. Be sure to save room for dessert.
  • When to go: 18 Seaboard can be a little pricey, so I would save this one for a date night or a special occasion.
