Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week

Southwest Raleigh restaurants feature their best dishes during Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week, which begins today, August 20th, and runs through Sunday, August 26th. Participating restaurants will feature $20 or $30 prix fixe menus giving you an opportunity to sample their finest creations.

In addition to the prix fixe menus, some restaurants are offering wine and beer pairings for an additional cost.  Babylon, Big Easy, Busy Bee, Five Star and La Volta are also offering $15 appetizer samplers. Other Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week events include a “Meet the Chef” event with Executive Chef Chris Hylton at the recently opened ORO. This event is today at 7:30 PM and space is limited! Reserve your spot. On Tuesday, August 21st, join the Yelp crew at the recently opened Krave. They’ll be reserving a table for Yelpers, so be sure to RSVP.

You can find a complete list of participating restaurants and their menus on godowntownraleigh.com. Reservations are recommended. Which restaurants do you plan to try this week?
