Halloween Hike on Hillsborough Street

It’s finally October and that time of year for Hillsborough Street’s annual Halloween Hike! This year the Halloween Hike will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.*

Come out dressed in your best costume attire and celebrate Halloween hiking to your favorite places on Hillsborough Street. There will be all kinds of Halloween specials – stay tuned for more details.

As always: have fun, but drink responsibly** and be safe, stay on the sidewalks, obey traffic signals, observe traffic, and be responsible and polite with the Raleigh and NC State Police. Be a good neighbor to our residential community around Hillsborough Street.

Event notes

* We normally would hold the Halloween Hike on a weekend evening, however NCSU Student Government and the Homecoming Committee have asked if we would change the date this year to be a part of Homecoming Week which is Oct. 29th-Nov 2nd.

** You must be 21 to drink. Under 21 you are still invited, there are plenty of businesses that will be open where you can hang out with your friends.

The Hillsborough Street Community Services Corporation (HSCSC) territory is about 2.5 miles long running on both sides of Hillsborough Street from St. Marys School to the beltline (including Morgan St. and a few side streets) and includes a diverse collection of businesses, organizations, institutions and residential options.
