Fellowship and Worship in SouthWestRaleigh comes in many denominations and different faith-based communities exist across the city. Many Christian services and the Islamic Center of Raleigh can be found in SWR, and Synagogues, Hindu and Buddhist temples and other places of worship are a short drive away.

Community Engagement is varied in SouthWestRaleigh. Citizen Advisory Councils serve as connecting points between neighborhoods and the City of Raleigh municipal government. SouthWestRaleigh encompasses six of these CACs: Central, Hillsborough, Southwest, Wade, and West. The Raleigh Neighborhood College and the Citizen’s Leadership Academy are great ways to connect city-wide and learn about how Raleigh works.
