Tournées Film Festival is a program of the FACE Foundation, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, which aims to bring French cinema to American college and university campuses. Showcasing established and emerging talents, the festival reflects the diversity and the richness of French cinema through various genres — fiction, documentary, animation and repertory films — giving participants the opportunity to expand their programming and for audiences to experience French cinema through a wider lens.

NC State University will host the film festival from February 1-March 1, 2018 at the Campus Cinema at Witherspoon Student Center and the Hunt Library auditorium. All films will be free and open to the public.

The festival will feature the following films:

  • Avril et le monde truqué / April and the Extraordinary World (103 min): Thursday, February 1 at the Campus Cinema at Witherspoon Student Center
  • La Noire de… / Black Girl (59 min + 20 min short): Thursday, February 8 at the Campus Cinema at Witherspoon Student Center
  • Ma vie de courgette / My Life as a Zucchini (68 min): Monday, February 12 at the Hunt Library Auditorium
  • Frantz (113 min): Thursday, February 15 at the Campus Cinema at Witherspoon Student Center
