You are invited to join us at the North Carolina Fairgrounds’ Holshouser Building on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 11:00am – 6:00pm for our first ‘Let’s Shop Local’ shopping spree. The event will feature artists, crafters, and other creative businesses from or near Raleigh.
You’ll find affordably priced jewelry, hand-painted scarves, soaps, lotions, unique crochet items, pottery, art, and much more. Come out and find the perfect gift for that special someone this Valentine’s Day, and feel good about the purchase knowing your money is going right back to your local community.
All of our vendors live within 30 miles of Raleigh. When you buy local your money stays in your local community.
Be sure to stop by our onsite fashion event. Our models will mingle in the crowds to show you hand-painted scarves, beautiful capes, purses and clutches, hair accessories, wearable art jewelry and more—all handcrafted and available for purchase from our talented artisans.
You can also vote for your favorite business display. The vendor whose display receives the most votes will get their display featured on our Facebook page AND receive a complimentary spot at our next ‘Let’s Shop Local’ event.
Admission to ‘Let’s Shop Local’ is only $3.00 and children under 12 are admitted for free. Representatives from Teddslist.com, an online directory for local businesses, are scheduled to be on site, too, handing out freebie bags stuffed with coupons and goodies from nearby local businesses.
