Exhibits can be enjoyed all over SouthWestRaleigh. The state-of-the-art NC Museum of Art is home to exhibits year-round and also hosts performances and concerts in its amphitheater.  Head downtown to check out the Contemporary Art Museum, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, NC Museum of History, City of Raleigh Museum, or relive Raleigh’s past at the historic Joel Lane House. The new Gregg Museum of Art & Design will be opening soon on Hillsborough street.

If you are looking for world-class performances, the NC Symphony offers 175 productions a year in SWR and across the state, and the NC Opera is always a great experience. The Carolina Ballet performs year ‘round and its Nutcracker production is especially popular at Christmas time. For Broadway productions, check out the North Carolina TheatreRaleigh Little Theatre and Theatre in the Park are wonderful live theater venues with a long Raleigh history.
