Family

There’s no shortage of family activities in SouthWestRaleigh. The Marbles Kid’s Museum and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences are both great locations for fun learning.

Pullen Park offers a train ride for the younger set as well as paddle boat rentals and the historic carousel. Check out Arts Together for classes in art, dance, and drama for kids and adults, or go boating on Lake Johnson. Cirque de Vol gives aerial skills workshops and the Pullen Aquatic Center is great for a wet family outing.

Most parks have playgrounds, such as Isabella Cannon, Caraleigh, and Carolina Pines.
