SPARKcon is an open source, for-the-people by-the-people festival. During a four day span each September, SPARKcon activates the creative momentum of the NC Triangle in Downtown Raleigh. But the time is now to help donate and show your early support for creativity in the Triangle. You could score stickers, t-shirts, or VIP seating by donating to the SPARKcon IndieGogo campaign. The campaign ends on July 15, so you only have a few days to make it happen.

Last year, I went from being a SPARKcon attendee to being an organizer and talent. I pitched in and volunteered to help geekSPARK to organize a team of folks to create this video about why SPARKcon is open source.

Then I participated as talent in ideaSPARK and gave a 6-minute PKN (PechaKucha Night) Raleigh talk called Left Brain vs Right Brain, the Balance of Creativity. The event was held at CAM Raleigh, which was a great setting to hear all the PKN talks at SPARKcon.

So it’s time for you to support SPARKcon in their quest to raise money for the festival. I recently chipped in for VIP seats on Friday night. Can you a give a High Five ($10) or more to help SPARKcon make it happen?
