After several months of work and some excellent pitches last week, we are excited to officially announce the top three teams that will continue in the NC DataPalooza competition.
NC DataPalooza proves that open data can influence innovation and entrepreneurship in the Triangle, and shows how one idea can lead to positive community and economic impact.
The final teams are as follows:
- BetaVersity
- Water Analytics
- Parking Initiative
These three teams will participate in a month-long accelerator with weekly mentorship and pitch feedback provided by Blackstone. This accelerator serves as preparation for final pitches at NC DataPalooza on September 12th, at which point one team will be awarded a cash prize and a pitch spot at CED’s Tech Venture Conference.
We have an impressive lineup of speakers and judges for the big event on September 12th and encourage you to register early. With your support, NC DataPalooza can become an annual event.
