Are you ready for the Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo?

skytrucklogo02Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! This Sunday, May 12, over 40 food trucks will descend on downtown Raleigh along Fayetteville Street. Organizers recently expanded the event in order to accommodate a larger crowd for what’s sure to be a huge turnout.

A recent update from the website stated, “Our priority is to have a safe, crowd friendly event with a lot of open space and seating.” Here are the details:

  • When: Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 12:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Where: Fayetteville Street, Downtown Raleigh
  • What: 40 food trucks on five city blocks
  • Amenities: Tables and chairs, porta-johns

What to expect

Over 40 food trucks will start lining up single file, one side of the street, at the State Capital end of Fayetteville Street. Power will be provided to the trucks so that they won’t need to run their generators.
