Who would you nominate for a 2011 individual or group Sir Walter Raleigh Award? We want to know. What are some of the improvements happening in your area that should be highlighted?
The Sir Walter Raleigh Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the character, environment, and appearance of Raleigh. Sir Walter Raleigh Awards are given for community appearance, typically to developers, designers, building owners, community groups, civic clubs, churches, and citizens.
The call for entries is open until the June 24, 2011 deadline at 5 p.m.
