Dawn Forrest of Wakefield properties will present on the Renaissance Park Neighborhood, the host of the next Southwest Citizen Advisory Council (SWCAC) meeting.  The meeting is on Monday, November 14, 2011, 7:00PM. Learn about the Southwest’s newest master planned community and the impact they hope to have in the city.

New business items for the SWCAC include welcoming Fairway Acres as a registered neighborhood and open nominations for a SWCAC secretary. We will also have reports from the Police Department and Park and Recreation.

Every Raleigh resident who is 18 or older is invited to be a voting member of a Citizens Advisory Council (CAC), an organization that serves as a link between members of the community and City government. The Southwest CAC is one of 18 groups that represent the city of Raleigh each deciding their own activities and priorities. All CAC meetings are open to everyone; however, you can vote only at meetings of the CAC where you reside.
