Boylan Heights is a nationally and locally registered historic district, with homes dating back to the early twentieth century. The neighborhood is located close to downtown and the Raleigh skyline is visible from its streets. The Boylan Heights community is creative and vibrant, and a number of fun events such as the Boylan Heights Artwalk and the Big Boylan Bash are held every year.
