With so many parks and programs in the Creative District, and Raleigh in general, it’s no wonder additional part-time help is needed in the busy summer months.  Whether you want to work at a pool, community center, or at a summer camp there are several opportunities to gain valuable experience.

The City of Raleigh’s Part-Time Job Fair is Saturday, February 11 from 9am-noon at March Creek Community Center.  They are looking for part-time and seasonal help to fill several different positions such as Recreation Aides, Lifeguards, Scorekeepers, Camp Counselors, Cashiers, and many more.  A few of the positions also accept applicants who are 15-17 years old.

Having spent over 5 summers working for my local county’s Parks & Rec department, I know how much fun and valuable the experience can be.  Come prepared with your resume and ready to talk with employers!
