Looking for a fun event on Thursday night while helping raise money for a local organization and supporting local brews and wines? Come out to the Fifth Annual Beer & Wine Tasting fundraiser at Tir Na Nog on Thursday, March 22 from 7-10pm to raise money for the HOBY NC East leadership program.
Chairperson Shira Samaniego explains, “HOBY NC East is a Raleigh Jaycee hosted three-day leadership development retreat for over 125 rising high school juniors. Students are selected by their high school because they have demonstrated the potential to lead others.”
This is the fifth year the Raleigh Jaycees have hosted the event at Tir Na Nog in downtown Raleigh. Chairperson Shira Samaniego exclaims, “We’re excited to partner with Tir Na Nog again to showcase several local NC breweries, wineries, and distributors. This year our beer and wine sponsors include Natty Greene’s, Carolina Brewing Company, Hinnant Family Vineyards, Starrlight Mead, Benjamin Vineyards and Winery LLC, and Mims Distributing Company.”
