Grab your fishing pole, tackle box, and a teammate, then head to Lake Johnson to sign up for the Bass Fishing Tournament on Saturday, April 14th. Lake Johnson is comprised of a 150+ acre lake that contains largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, carp and more. On this particular Saturday, catching bass will be most important as 2-angler teams compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along with largest bass and other door prizes.
Teams must register in person at Lake Johnson by 5pm on Friday, April 13, 2012. A minimum of 15 teams are needed for the tournament, but no more than 20 teams will be allowed to register. Teams consist of two anglers per boat. Tournament registration includes lunch. The park has other amenities that will be open as normal that day with the exception of the boat rentals. Boat rentals will resume after 3pm to allow for the tournament to be held.
