Capital RunWalk in Cameron Village will be holding their annual Monster Dash 5k on Sunday October 28, 2012. This family friendly event kicks off at 1:45 pm with a 100 yard kid’s dash, a 1 mile run at 2:00 pm, and a 5k at 2:30 pm.
This is a great family event. Kids can enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, craft tables and much more. All participants and supporters are encouraged to wear their costumes and participate in the costume contests.
The proceeds of the race go to the Raleigh Police Memorial foundation. The Monster Dash is part of the Second Empire 2012 Gran Prix Series.
