New in 2019, many Wake County Parks activities will be fee free so more visitors can enjoy all the fun the parks have to offer. This means public, group, and outreach will no longer have a fee. Other activities like canoe rental (where available) will also be fee free.
There are ten Wake County Parks and you can see them all on their website. Here in Southwest Raleigh, we have the Historic Yates Mill County Park, which is located on Lake Wheeler Road and we can’t wait to check out all the free programs.
