Boylan Heights art gallery, Rebus Works, is hosting another popular Food Truck Rodeo event on Thursday April 26 from 5-9pm. Becoming an annual tradition to kick-off their popular Saturday Farmer’s Market, the Food Truck Rodeo was a huge hit last year with plans to again round up some of the best local trucks and entertainment for a sure-to-be lively event.

This FREE family-friendly event will also feature Gouge Wrestling, a local wrestling group that mixes a comedic view of some of professional wrestling’s most popular gimmicks. They are bringing an all-star show of fan favorites to the party including Jimmy Jack Funk, Lou Marconi, Mickey Gambino, Mike West, Seymour Snott, The Taker, Gluteus Maximas, Otto Schwanz, Baon von Fox, and more.

But what you really want to know about is the awesome array of delicious food trucks that will be parked around Rebus Works and serving up their signature dishes. So far the mouth-watering line-up includes American Meltdown (gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches), Bulkogi (Korean Tacos and Rice dishes), Captain Poncho’s Tacos, Triangle Raw Foodist (raw, dairy-free, meat-free, and gluten-free goodies), Chick-n-Que, Kona Ice of Raleigh, Klausies Pizza, Locopops (gourmet popsicles) with possibly more to show up. Plus there will be plenty of cold brew available to purchase for the adults.

The food trucks have generously offered to donate some of the evening’s profits to pay for the wrestling entertainment and promotional support for The Saturday Market. So you not only get a good dinner and fun night out, but your dollars help support a great local nonprofit too.

House of Swank Yurt will also be there selling his cool NC inspired t-shirts and playing live music to add to the festivities.

It’s going to be a gorgeous Spring night, so round up your friends or family and pop over to Rebus Works (located right next to the Boylan Bridge off Boylan Ave. near downtown Raleigh) to celebrate the kick-off of another Farmer’s Market season. Join the Facebook event page to get up to date info or news about the bash.
