All the action around the NHL All Star game is ramping up. On Saturday, January 29, 2011 the National Hockey League and visitRaleigh presents the All Star 5K. A race that will benefit the Kids ‘n Community Foundation.
Traffic will be impacted in the vicinity of the RBC Center on January 29 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. for a road race. The runners will begin at the RBC Center and turn left on Trinity Road using the westbound lanes. They will turn left onto Blue Ridge Road using the southbound lane, left onto W. Chase Road, and proceed west and return to the starting line.

The 5k starts at 9am, and ends approximately one hour later. Drivers should plan alternate routes due to a road race.
Race Route:
- Assemble at RBC Center
- Left onto Trinity Rd.
- Left onto Blue Ridge Rd.
- Left onto Westchase Blvd.
- Return to RBC Center
