The Triangle region is home to three of the nation’s top-ranking universities, with one of them right here in SouthWestRaleigh: North Carolina State University is centrally located and connected with the area through its Main and Centennial Campuses. Other higher learning institutions in SWR are Meredith College and William Peace University; and two historically black colleges, Shaw University and Saint Augustine’s University, are located just outside its boundaries.
