The National Hockey League All-Stars are coming to South West Raleigh. It’s time to show hockey some southern hospitality done the Raleigh way. The Raleigh Convention Center has activities planned for the month of January including a concert with 3 Doors Down on All-Star weekend.

NHL ALL-STAR WEEKEND HEADLINES IN JANUARY

The National Hockey’s League’s All-Star weekend dominates a month of large events at the Raleigh Convention Center. Several events will feature more than 1,000 visitors to Downtown Raleigh. The calendar includes:

  • January 10 through January 16 – The Big Rock Sports Annual Dealer meeting will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center. The conference is expected to draw more than 2,500 people;
  • January 19 through January 23 – The 2011 National Agents Alliance National Convention will be held at the convention center. The conference is expected to draw more than 2,600 people; and,
  • January 28 through January 29 – The National Hockey League’s All-Star weekend is expected to draw more than 20,000 people downtown. The weekend will feature a Kid’s Day on Friday, January 28. Events are scheduled on Fayetteville Street and the Raleigh Convention Center Exhibit Hall. Several concerts are scheduled for the Raleigh Downtown Amphitheater as well, headlined by “3 Doors Down.”
