With the hot summer weather peaking, it’s a great time to get outside (or inside) and cool off in one of the Creative District’s pools. Load up the kiddos, pack a picnic lunch and head to one of the three nearby pools to enjoy a favorite summer pastime.

Lake Johnson Pool
Lake Johnson Pool (outdoor/seasonal) – has three separate swimming areas: wading/baby pool up to 18-in, splash garden, and large open swim area with lap lanes up to 5 ft 6 in; has plastic chairs for use, shaded canopies, few picnic tables, vending machines, grassy picnic spots, life jackets for use; located at 1416 Athens Dr

Pullen Aquatic Center (indoor/year-round) – has two swimming areas: warm water teaching pool up to 4-ft and 50 x 25 meter pool with diving boards; has spectator balcony or bleacher seating on pool deck, picnic areas outside and across street at Pullen Park; located at 410 Ashe Ave
