This week, Growing Through Play’s “Entrepreneurial Experiences” children’s camp will join the Saturday Market to discover what it’s like to start a small business! They have met with small business owners, collaborated in product development, created business plans, led focus groups, marketed, produced, and will be selling comic books and home-made chocolate truffles at this Saturday Market.
Also joining the Saturday Market will be Full Circles Foundation, a non-profit community-powered continuum of programs fostering personal wellness, environmental literacy, civic efficacy, and entrepreneurial know-how for girls and young women. Full Circles Foundation will be selling screen-printed t-shirts, hula-hoops, organic body products, original, one-of-a-kind jean cutoffs, all made by the girls.
Scentsy will be joining us at this Saturday Market for the first time. Scentsy offers wickless candles, scent circles, room sprays, antibacterial foam, and more.
Crumb bakery will return this Saturday, offering a range of treats this week including vegetable hand pie, fruit galettes and bagels.
Chick-n-que food truck will serve their unique family recipe, with a savory taste that stands out as some of the best barbeque around. They were originally inspired to feed the masses when serving their barbeque at football parties. With their specialty in home cooking, they are pleased to provide you with food that satisfies your taste buds and comforts your soul.
Now enjoy cold beer and seating inside Rebus Works!
The Saturday Market
Rebus Works gallery, located next to the Boylan Street Bridge, downtown Raleigh, began The Saturday Market at Rebus Works in April. The market continues weekly through November. The idea is to combine farmers, crafters, and food and beverage trucks in one location. Although the idea is not new, it is new to Raleigh. The Saturday Market offers a unique setting where vendors are set up along a meandering path, past the chicken coop and gardens, right in the heart of downtown Raleigh.
The Saturday Market is located at 301-2 Kinsey Street, (next to the Boylan Street Bridge) Raleigh, NC and is open every Saturday from 9-1pm and will continue through November 17.
