The Saturday MarketThis week is filled with great eats in from Triangle Raw Foods and Chirba Chriba.  Also, this Saturday is the return of Porch Rockin which will be serving ice cream, jams, cashew butter, and fresh squeezed lemonade.

There are even more vegetables and fruits available at  The Saturday Market
this week.  There are butter beans, field peas, tomatoes, squash, corn, cucumbers, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, and figs just to name a few.

With only days to go Bill Hickman of Bill’s Lemon Tahini is 99% funded
with his Kickstarter campaign. We are looking forward to watching his business grow.

The LoMo Market continues the weekly stop in Boylan Heights at The Saturday
Market  every Saturday from 10:30-1pm. This weekly opportunity offers a delectable experience with both LoMo and foodies creating their own culinary delights.

There are also plenty of opportunities to interact with farmers growing their own produce. This unique shopping experience is set apart from other stops that LoMo makes by placing the truck within the market’s grounds which include vegetable gardens, chicken coops, and a bee hive located along the walking path.  Encompassing both the selective and consciously aware patron, this downtown Raleigh market fully promotes educational awareness for all ages.

Here is a list of vendors on their truck:

  • Coon Rock – Produce
  • Farm Hand Foods – Meats
  • Dock to Door  – Seafood
  • Vollmer Farms – Produce
  • Hilltop Farms – Produce
  • Guna’s  – Hot sauces
  • Scratch – Baked goods
  • Elodie – Cheeses, eggs
  • Sarah Cecilias Good Food – Dumplings
  • Latta Farms – Eggs
  • Triangle Raw Foods

The Saturday Market also offers donation yoga every Saturday from 10-11am.

The Saturday Market

Rebus Works gallery, located next to the Boylan Street Bridge, downtown Raleigh, began The Saturday Market at Rebus Works in April.  The market continues weekly through November.  The idea is to combine farmers, crafters, and food and beverage trucks in one location.  Although the idea is not new, it is new to Raleigh.  The Saturday Market offers a unique setting where vendors are set up along a meandering path, past the chicken coop and gardens, right in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

The Saturday Market is located at 301-2 Kinsey Street, (next to the Boylan Street Bridge) Raleigh, NC and is open every Saturday from 9-2pm and will continue through November 17.
