The Park Scholarship Foundation and NC State Student Government are proud to announce that Service Raleigh will be held on Saturday, March 26th. The event, started in 1998 by Park Scholars at State, is a one day service initiative which seeks to encourage and inspire participants to continue in volunteerism throughout the year.
This year, the event will pair nearly 2,000 participants with various partner organizations around the city. Past projects have included roadside cleanup, landscaping at schools, and environmental clean-up around Lake Raleigh on NCSU’s Centennial Campus. Volunteer registration closes March 4th and partner registration ends on March 5th so it’s not too late to become involved and make a difference in our community!
