Do you want to provide input on improving existing bus routes? What about new bus routes or nighttime, weekend, holiday, and fringe trip schedule adjustments? Maybe you’re concerned about bus frequency adjustments, transit center improvements, or an improvement project in a specific area, corridor, or a complementary streetscape improvement?

Help us continue to develop the future of Raleigh’s bus transit system. The Capital Area Transit (CAT) Short Range Transit Plan has been drafted, providing recommendations for improving bus transit service for the City of Raleigh within the next three to five years.

The purpose of the upcoming workshop series will be to provide feedback on the draft service improvement recommendations and identify priorities for implementation within the next three to five years. Workshop facilitators will be available to answer any questions you have about the draft plan.

See a complete list of dates of upcoming informational workshops related to the CAT Short Range Transit Plan. In the Creative District, save the date for:

  • Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 3-6pm
  • Moore Square Transit Station/ Wilmoore Café
  • 223 South Wilmington Street

In addition to these workshops, an online comment form and draft recommendations fact sheet will be available at raleighnc.gov/transit within the next week. This online comment form offers a convenient opportunity for you to provide feedback on the draft recommended bus transit improvements should you not be able to attend any of the workshops.
