Join the Southwest Citizens Advisory Committee (SWCAC) community on August 8, 2011, starting at 6:30pm, to celebrate some of our accomplishments over the last year—including one of the most popular neighborhood recognition awards winners: Bill Dumont, progress on the Tryon Road project, several promising rezoning cases, and a new registered neighborhood–Wheeler Park.

Pizza will be provided. Bring a drink or dessert to share. Our regular meeting will begin at 7:00 pm at the Carolina Pines Community Center, 2305 Lake Wheeler Road. Our main presentation is from Activate Good. We will also discuss and nominate individuals / organizations for the Neighborhood Recognition Award.

Attendees are encouraged to use the celebration time to mingle and discuss how we can improve our organization, increase our attendance, and make our meeting time more meaningful and productive. Many neighborhood leaders have been personally invited and encouraged to attend.

The agenda has been rearranged to focus on neighborhood efforts. See the highlights below.
