In April, the City of Raleigh announced a new way to keep citizens up-to-date with the latest news and events happening in and around Raleigh – custom email notifications, dubbed MyRaleigh Subscriptions. You can sign up for your own custom digest by going to raleighnc.gov and clicking “Sign Up Now” on the right-hand side of the page.
Residents can choose to receive notifications via email or text message. After creating a password to save or change subscription options, you are presented with a comprehensive list of subscription options. If you want to receive only City Alerts to your cell phone, but a more substantial newsy update to your email, you can select accordingly.
Choices for subscriptions include Road Races/Parades, Budget Updates, City Newsletters, City Council news and updates, Parks and Recreation updates, Police Department news or alerts, even street and sidewalk construction notifications.
Should you get tired of the emails or if your interests change, changing your subscription options is easy and quick.
