Looking for information on the 2012 Oktoberfest? It’s happening on September 29, 2012.

The first annual Downtown Raleigh Oktoberfest is happening this Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 4pm-9pm. It will be on the corner of North Person and Pace Street (not Peace Street). Wrist bands are $5.00 for adults and that includes one beer ticket. Beer for purchase is available and you can bring your own stein for $7.00 and if you follow the rules.

Organizers say this is a grass roots community event and is the first step in developing a larger Oktoberfest celebration. The Downtown Raleigh Oktoberfest is organized by the Music on the Porch Non-Profit and supported by Carolina Brewing Company, PieBird Restaurant, and Person Street Partnership.
