After many years of planning and hard work, the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) is opening in less than a week. When it opens CAM Raleigh will become the first museum of its kind in North Carolina. This is a perfect fit for Southwest Raleigh’s Creative District, and we would like to welcome our new neighbor to the area.

CAM Raleigh will seek to curate the most contemporary works of art and design possible—those still emerging, growing, and living. We hope to spark new thinking by creating ever-changing experiences that explore what’s now and nearing.

Tickets are on sale and available for the Grand Opening Celebration and CAM/now after party but only until April 27th.  No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Celebration starts at 7:00 pm and features the works of Dan Steinhilber and Noako Ito and food from local favorites Poole’s Diner, Humble Pie, Jibarra, The Pit, and bu•ku. Tickets include admission to the After Party beginning at 9:00 pm featuring gourmet desserts from Escazu, Crumb, and Locopops.
